Studio 8: A Space dedicated to young people at IMMA What is Studio 8? Studio 8 is a space dedicated to young people, aged 15-18 years old, at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). It is a space where you can think about, discuss and make art work, all in your own time. Each Saturday, a different aspect of IMMA’s exhibitions and programmes is experienced and discussed. This allows an opportunity for dialogue and response which can be used creatively within the studio space later on. Studio 8 will host an Open Day 10.00am-5.00pm on Saturday 4 October 2008 for everyone; parents/guardians, teachers, youth workers, friends and of course, you. The Open Day will be an opportunity to meet the staff at IMMA, to view Studio 8 and to get an idea of what we have to offer. Drop-in anytime from 10.00am–5.00pm every Saturday From 11 October—13 December 2008 & from 10 January—30 May 2009 (excluding Bank and Public Holiday weekends) Studio 8 Open Day 10.00am–5.00pm 4 October 2008
